Status and scope
These terms concern browsing and using the TFC website only. They do not form a transport or warehousing contract, replace an existing signed agreement, or incorporate the separate service terms merely because you browse or submit a form.
Using the site
Use the site lawfully and provide accurate information you are authorised to share. Do not interfere with its security, submit malicious material, impersonate others or misuse the enquiry service. These restrictions do not prevent lawful accessibility tools, legitimate enquiries or uses permitted by law.
Information and enquiries
Service descriptions are general information. Availability, suitability, timing and price depend on the particular job and must be confirmed with TFC. A form summary, submission reference or automated receipt is not a quote, accepted booking, reserved capacity, pickup instruction or insurance confirmation. A mailto link only opens an email draft; you must send it yourself. Check details with TFC before relying on them for a freight movement.
Content and links
TFC and its licensors retain applicable rights in site content, branding and assets. You may view the site and keep reasonable copies for considering or arranging services, and use content as otherwise permitted by law. Do not misrepresent affiliation or reproduce protected material commercially without permission. External websites have their own terms and privacy practices; a link does not by itself endorse their content.
Availability and your rights
The site may need maintenance and information may need correction. Report errors to TFC so they can be addressed. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law where it applies. These terms contain no blanket exclusion of liability, all-risk indemnity or waiver of statutory rights.
Privacy and changes
Personal information and browser choices are described separately in the privacy policy and cookie notice. Reading those notices is not consent to marketing. Future updates to these terms will state their effective date. Website updates do not retrospectively vary an agreed service contract.
Questions and disputes
Contact ops@thefreightcompany.au to raise a website concern. The approach is to try to resolve issues directly while preserving access to courts, tribunals and regulators and any urgent relief. Subject to mandatory laws, these website terms are governed by Victorian law with non-exclusive jurisdiction; no person is prevented from using a forum or remedy available under applicable law.
